A camera has captured the moment a great white shark swam up to the lens and tried to take a bite.
Scientist Dr Greg Skomal of the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries was on a research trip when the 3.6-meter (11ft 9in) shark tried to take a chunk out of his research equipment.
The shark was filmed off Monomoy island, Massachusetts on Monday.

As the Trump administration is moving against sanctuary cities that refuse to enforce federal immigration laws, Sheriff Joe has been found guilty of CRIMINAL contempt by a sanctuary judge.
