A billionaire founder of a drug company has been arrested for his alleged role in persuading doctors to mis-prescribe patients an opioid painkiller.
John Kapoor has been charged with bribery, racketeering and fraud. Kapoor’s lawyer however says his client denies any involvement. But former White House spokesperson, Bob Weener, believes that such abuse is widespread practice in the industry.
