Dangerous Life: Italian oil giant accused of dumping toxic waste off Sicily

Italy’s biggest oil firm Eni has been accused of dumping tons of toxic waste off the coast of Sicily for decades, and creating a health crisis in nearby towns. Inhabitants of Gela blame the company for a string of birth defects, and a high incidence of serious illnesses.
The oil giant hit back at the allegations of triggering a health crisis.
Those who claim to have been affected have taken matters to court.
