The Bible is not just one book, but 66 books written by more than 30 different authors over a period of about a thousand years. You are made up of Body soul and spirit. God wants to communicate with you on a spiritual level. Your own ego, such as pride and self righteousnes has surrounded your spirit and it is not working independently because it is blocked in by your choice, your self will choosing not to believe.

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

John 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
