Big news: the US Senate is meeting with Bitcoin experts and key regulators today to discuss the viability of Bitcoin/cryptocurrency “legalization” in the form of greater direct federal regulation and oversight. In theory, I support such regulation as long as it is not burdensome. A degree of federal endorsement would send more investors into the cryptocurrency industry, in my view.
