‘If stream runs dry, Nestle leaves’: Increased water extraction approved in Michigan despite outcry

There’s a David and Goliath battle playing out in the US state of Michigan. Despite widespread public opposition food giant Nestle is being allowed to extract more drinking water from the state’s groundwater table.
