Dozens of Central American migrants traveling in a caravan scaled the border fence near Tijuana, Mexico on Tuesday, after the US government started work to ‘harden’ the border ahead of the arrival of thousands of more migrants.
Dozens climbed on the border fence, at least one young man jumped over into US side of the border, before running back.
US border patrol officers, some on horseback, looked on from a distance.
