Gorky Park’s legendary ice rink, this year known as the “Factory of Happy People,” officially opened in Moscow on Thursday.
With a maximum capacity of 6,000 people and sprawling over 18,000 square metres (193,750 square feet), the ice rink boasts concerts, ice discos and light shows, while the industrial refrigeration system means that Muscovites don’t have to worry about the ice melting until the end of March.
