Radio stations drop Michael Jackson’s music over sex abuse claims: Right decision or over the top?

Fans of American pop icon Michael Jackson gathered outside a UK TV channel’s London HQ on Wednesday.

They’d come to voice their anger over a new documentary ‘Leaving Neverland’ featuring interviews with two men – who claim they were abused by Jackson as children.

Both alleged victims featured in the movie – Wade Robson and James Safechuck – for years denied they had been abused. They were called as witnesses for the defence at Jackson’s trial in 2005, when he was accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy.

Our guests debated whether an artist’s work can be evaluated separately from the person.
