The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office shared that the victim discreetly passed a note to a fellow customer at a Chevron store in Seligman. The note contained vital information about the situation, including her name, vehicle description, destination, and a plea for help. Acting swiftly, the customer immediately dialed 911 and provided critical details to the authorities, leading them to locate the vehicle on I-40. Thanks to their quick actions, the victim is now safe, and a 41-year-old suspect is in custody. Let’s applaud the power of community and vigilance!
