Flames shot from windows all the way up the side of the 24-story Grenfell Tower in North Kensington as firefighters battled the blaze, and a plume of smoke could be seen for several miles. BREAKING: Horrifying Images Show London High-Rise Bursting Into Flames
Flames devoured a 24-story apartment building in west London early Wednesday morning as firefighters rushed to contain the inferno, according to witnesses.
Videos posted on social media show Grenfell Tower, in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, ablaze as firefighters spray it with hoses. Witnesses have said some people were seen falling from the structure, but there are no official reports of casualties.
The London Fire Brigade said 40 fire engines and 200 firefighters had been dispatched to the blaze, which had consumed almost every floor of parts of the building.
The Guardian noted that some people on the scene feared that people were trapped in the complex, which contains 120 units.
he city’s Metropolitan Police said two people were being treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were immediately reported. The department has urged people to stay out of the area, and several people have tweeted that authorities have marked off a perimeter around the tower.
There have been no official reports on what might have caused the fire.

Britain in Chaos 4 Days Before Election
With four days left to go before British voters head to the polls yet another terror attack has occurred, this time in the capital city London. This is the second terror attack in the space of two weeks. Something very strange has been going on during this British General Election. For the first time in living memory during what seems like this never ending Western «war on terror» terror attacks have occurred during a General Election campaign. There were no terror attacks during the 2005, 2010 and 2015 General Elections, but then a political leader like Jeremy Corbyn was not in the mix during those elections. And just as with the Manchester bombing on May 22, so much of the information about the attack simply does not make sense or add up.
I know the London Bridge area well. I find it astonishing that the attackers drove along London Bridge mowing people down; then abandoned the vehicle near Southwark Cathedral; found time to run through Borough Market on a rampage stabbing people as many as 10 or 15 times; then ran down to the Wheatsheaf pub were they were shot dead by armed police – all in the space of 8 minutes. They covered quite a lot of ground and caused a terrible amount of damage in the space of 8 minutes and from the time when the 999 emergency call was put in the police responded very, very quickly.
As with the last terror attack in Manchester that occurred during the election campaign, campaigning has now been temporarily suspended just as the polls have been tightening against the ruling Conservative Party of Theresa May. Just before the Manchester bombing the polls had already begun to tighten and the Conservative Party manifesto launch was marred in chaos thanks to Theresa May’s ridiculous, immature, lightweight Chief of Staff Nick Timothy’s absurd and cruel idea to introduce a «Dementia Tax». It has been the most dreadful campaign for Theresa May and her team. What started off looking like a Coronation with a landslide has become a bitter fight to the death, quite literally, between the Tories and Labour. Mrs. May has been exposed for the intellectual and political lightweight she is as well as the cold, calculating, callous politician she is while the team of advisors around her are quite clearly rank amateurs, too young, lacking real world experience, way out of their depth and psychologically far too combative and conflict driven for their own good.
Despite the best efforts of her image makers to launch a personality cult around the Prime Minister as a «strong & stable» leader she has in fact demonstrated what a weak, oscillating, untrustworthy coward she is. Mrs. May was for Remain during the EU Referendum Campaign though was hedging her bets by being completely invisible during the plebiscite. Since the result she has become the biggest cheerleader for the hardest of hardest of Brexits though she had no courage of her convictions to come out for Leave during the 2016 Referendum. During the Referendum Campaign she called for leaving the European Convention on Human Rights yet her 2017 Manifesto states the UK will remain a signatory to the ECHR for the duration of the next Parliament…

Theresa May’s internet clampdown could backfire, warns civil rights group — RT UK
Internet regulations proposed by Prime Minister Theresa May in response to the London Bridge terrorist attack could backfire by making extremists even harder to track, according to the Open Rights Group (ORG).
In a statement following a meeting of the Cabinet Office Briefing Room, known as COBRA, May said regulations are needed to deny space for extremism.
It comes in the wake of two terrorist attacks in the space of two weeks – in London Bridge on Saturday and in Manchester on May 22 – which followed a deadly assault on Parliament in March.
“We cannot allow this ideology the safe space it needs to breed – yet that is precisely what the internet, and the big companies that provide internet-based services provide,” May said.
“We need to work with allied democratic governments to reach international agreements to regulate cyberspace to prevent the spread of extremism and terrorism planning,” she added.
Civil rights activists, however, warned such powers could have the opposite effect.
“If successful, Theresa May could push these vile networks into even darker corners of the web, where they will be even harder to observe,” ORG director Jim Killock told the Independent on Monday.
“But we should not be distracted: the internet and companies like Facebook are not a cause of this hatred and violence, but tools that can be abused.
“While governments and companies should take sensible measures to stop abuse, attempts to control the internet is not the simple solution that Theresa May is claiming.”

- “Multiple” casualties after two terrorist attacks took place in London on Saturday night; police have responded to attacks on London Bridge and Borough Market
- At least two people have been killed amid confirmed knife attacks, gunfire, at least 20 injured.

Witnesses have said that armed officers are understood to be at the scene after a white van mounted the pavement before driving into people.
The Metropolitan Police say they are dealing with an incident on the bridge.
Transport for London said the bridge has been closed in both directions due to a “major police incident”. Bus routes were being diverted.
BBC reporter Holly Jones, who was on the bridge at the time of the incident, said the van was driven by a man and was “probably travelling at about 50 miles an hour”.
About five people were being treated for injuries after the vehicle mounted the pavement and hit them, she said.
She said the van, which was travelling from the direction of central London, headed towards the south side of the river.
Ms Jones later reported seeing a man being arrested by police. She said he was handcuffed and had his shirt off.

The government of Great Britain has raised the Terror Alert to the ‘Critical Status’.
This is deeply significant and of the highest concern – NOT because more attacks are expected. (I have been warning that this is so for a considerable time! If the establishment bothered to read my updates they would have known weeks ago! But they don’t) It’s of the highest concern because I have been told that this new ‘martial law’ allows the British Army to deploy onto the streets and in all public places, and that the army will ‘support the regular police force’.
This latest attack has paved the way for the start of ‘soldiers on the streets of Great Britain’ – A huge step for a country that has never routinely armed its police.
7 years ago in one of my first ever YouTube videos I said that 2017 was a make or break year, and so it is proving to be!
We stand on the verge of the British election being postponed – civil rights being taken away, and martial law introduced with curfews imposed – These details were I understand laid out at the latest ‘cobra’ government meeting – I appeal to the establishment – “In the name of God, draw back from the brink while you still can”
The next 24 hours are totally and utterly critical in terms of the timeline!
