Congressman Steve Scalise, the No. 3 Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives, was in critical condition on Wednesday night after he and three others were shot as they practiced for a charity baseball game.

The gunman, who had posted angry messages against President Donald Trump and other Republicans on social media, opened fire on a group of Republican lawmakers and colleagues at a baseball field in Alexandria, Virginia, outside Washington. He was wounded in a gunfight with Capitol Hill police at the scene and later died.

Scalise was shot in the left hip, suffering broken bones, injuries to internal organs and severe bleeding.

He underwent surgery but would need further operations, the MedStar Washington Hospital Center said.

“Rep. Steve Scalise, one of the truly great people, is in very tough shape – but he is a real fighter. Pray for Steve!” Trump said on Twitter after visiting the hospital on Wednesday night.
The gunman, identified by police as 66-year-old James Hodgkinson from the St. Louis suburb of Belleville, Illinois, fired repeatedly at the men playing on the baseball field on Wednesday morning.

Congressmen at the ballpark described hearing loud noises like the sound of firecrackers and 15 to 20 people lying on the ground and realizing they had only baseball bats to defend themselves against bullets.

“When he started shooting, he was shooting to kill people. And thank God he wasn’t a very good shot,” said Representative Joe Barton, the Republican team’s manager.

Also wounded were a congressional aide and one former aide who now works as a lobbyist, officials said. One Capitol Hill police officer suffered a gunshot wound and another officer twisted an ankle and was released from a hospital, police said.

President Trump and Vice President Pence said they were “deeply saddened” by a shooting Wednesday morning at a Virginia baseball field, where Republican members of Congress were practicing for an upcoming charity game.

“The Vice President and I are aware of the shooting incident in Virginia and are monitoring developments closely,” Trump said in a statement.

“We are deeply saddened by this tragedy,” Trump said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the members of Congress, their staffs, Capitol Police, first responders, and all others affected.”

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise was one of several people shot early Wednesday morning by a gunman carrying a rifle. Congressional staffers and Capitol Police officers are also reportedly among the injured.
The president tweeted kind words to Scalise shortly after the White House released his official statement.

Witnesses have said the gunman shot Scalise in the hip, but the Louisiana Republican is expected to recover fully.

Gowdy’s been busy with all sorts of investigations over the years, but there’s one in particular that conservatives are especially interested in, that being Obama’s gun-running scheme Operation Fast and Furious.

As reported at the Angry Patriot Movement, while speaking to an ATF agent at a recent committee hearing on the failed operation, Gowdy plainly stated, “This might be the stupidest idea I have ever heard.”
He’s referring to the plan for the ATF to sell weapons to cartels, hoping that they’d be able to trace their use and eventually work their way up the cartel food chain.

Of course, it was a foolish and dangerous idea, one that got a Border Patrol agent killed.But Fast and Furious also served a more sinister purpose, to increase the amount of gun violence to make the public more accepting of stricter gun laws.
Gowdy made the ATF agent, John Dodson, squirm in his seat, as he was forced to spill the beans about the idiotic operation.

Dobson explained that as the proposal for the gun-running scheme slowly made it’s way up the chain of command, he always expected it to eventually get shut down, but to his surprise, it never was.

Instead, it continued getting approval, despite the fact that, as he said, it was “completely alien“ for the ATF to be allowed to do anything like they were doing.

“I always thought as soon as we got to the next level, somebody’s going to shut it down,” Dodson said.

He added that he had no idea who it was that was giving the constant green light. But we know the answer: Obama and Eric Holder.
It was all part of their two-pronged scheme to push for gun control and to foolishly track cartels by arming them.

And the price paid for their pathetic operation was the life of Brian Terry.
Despite his murder and the egregious nature of the program, no one has been held to account for it.

So it’s no surprise that the world’s lead sponsor of terrorism would feel emboldened to become more aggressive in the region and flex its military muscle.”

Obama’s thoughtless negligence for our national security is a piece of the reason that President Trump kept running for office in any case.

If you listened to the liberal media up until last year, you’d have thought that voter fraud was a myth.

As reported at USA Newsflash, to no one’s surprise, 12 Democratic officials have been arrested and charged with voter fraud.

Local prosecutors in Marion County, Indiana, have charged 12 employees of a Democratic-linked voter recruitment organization of submitting fraudulent voter registration applications prior to the 2016 election.

According to the Associated Press, these criminals sent in an unknown number of fake voter applications.

The guilty organization is managed by Patriot Majority USA a group with strong ties to Democratic Party.

The investigation scoured 56 counties where the organization collected 45,000 applications.

Despite ample evidence of their crimes, Patriot Majority is still denying they engaged in any illegal activity.

“We looked onto the Statewide Voter Registration System and noticed that there had been an unusually high number of date of birth and first name changes,”the secretary of state’s office told CNN.

A search warrant unsealed on November 14 says some workers admitted to falsifying registrations, saying they were threatened that they’d lose their jobs if they didn’t register enough people every day.

Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said that, “by giving someone a financial motive to (meet a quota) is what caused these canvassers to cut corners and do things that not only undermined the goal of having legitimate registered voters but led to a situation where we allege it bled over into criminal conduct.”

The exact number of fraudulent applications, and the subsequent votes it gained for the Democratic Party is still unknown.

It’s hard to believe that this is an isolated incident. Registering dead folks and illegals, or using left-wing groups to drive folks to multiple polling stations is Democratic Party’s way of doing things.

They not only shamelessly refuse to protect the integrity of our elections, they try to rig them as well.

Barack Hussein Obama has been out of the White House for almost five months, and the Department of Justice has just come upon something he was doing that could land him in serious trouble.

Mad World News reported that the DOJ just found the secret government slush fund that Obama used throughout his presidency. Things are looking very bad for the former president, as it’s becoming clear that he sent millions to liberal groups that furthers his agenda.
Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch has filed a lawsuit to try to learn more about this fund. They have filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice demanding records relating to an Obama administration policy of settling agency lawsuits against corporate defendants by requiring that the corporations make “donations” to left-wing interest groups La Raza, the Urban League and the National Community Reinvestment Coalition.

Judicial Watch believes that Obama used this policy as a means of funneling millions of dollars to leftist organizations to help them spread their efforts across the nation.

The Obama-era policy called for companies that broke the law to face federal charges, but they never actually made it to court, as they would settle with government lawyers. Obama would then allow these companies to pay less in the settlements if they handed out cash to leftist organizations.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions put an end to this practice as soon as Donald Trump became president.

“When the federal government settles a case against a corporate wrongdoer, any settlement funds should go first to the victims and then to the American people— not to bankroll third-party special interest groups or the political friends of whoever is in power,” said Sessions.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich appeared on The View on Tuesday, and loudmouth liberal Whoopi Goldberg immediately picked a fight with him about Donald Trump. Gingrich, however, wasn’t having any of it.

Gossip Cop reported that the women began by asking Gingrich what he thought about Trump’s first cabinet meeting on Monday. Though he acknowledged that the meeting was “different,” he went on to say that Trump has always lead by making himself the center of things.

“The centrality of Trump is a significant part of his life. Of course, now he has a Trump Air Force One, and a Trump Marine One, and now a Trump White House,” Gingrich said.

It was then that Whoopi Goldberg and her cohost Sunny Hostin loudly interjected.

“No, he doesn’t have that!” Hostin said. “He has the United States of America’s.”

“Those belong to us. He can use them, but he can’t have them,” Whoopi added.

Gingrich went on to say that he believes former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony has completely vindicated Trump.
“If you go back and read his testimony, a lot of this puff shrinks,” he said. When Joy Behar said that she disagrees with this, Gingrich said, “I know you have hope.”

Behar then questioned how Comey handled the investigation into Hillary Clinton.

“I think he found more than enough about Mrs. Clinton which is why she’s still Mrs. Clinton,” Gingrich said, setting Whoopi off again.

“That was double speak at its best. What did you just say? What the hell did you just say?!” she exclaimed.

“She would be President Clinton if he found nothing,” Gingrich said.

The 66-year-old shooter was killed this morning by nearby Capitol Police present to protect these government officials during their morning baseball practice. He’s out, but there are certainly more incensed liberal trolls like him out there willing to carry on his mission, as we’re just learning now. It seems to be “open season” on Republican members of Congress, by deranged individuals who can’t get Trump impeached and are willing to go as martyrs for the liberal movement. Now, it’s only a matter of time before another civil war erupts, if these attacks continue as deranged leftists promise they will.

Representative Scalise of Louisiana is still said to be in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the hip from Hodgkinson’s rifle. It’s suspected that the shooter knew where to find so many GOP targets at once because of a recent report by left-leaning New York Times which exposed their morning routine of where they practice baseball. Now, Republican Representative Claudia Tenney of New York is fearing for her own safety.
According to a Twitter post which shows an email the representative received right after Scalise was shot, it purports that she and the other 215 conservative members of Congress are next, for one disgusting reason.

“One down, 216 to go…” the e-mail in pictured in the Twitter post begins. “Did you not expect this? When you take away ordinary people’s very lives in order to pay off the wealthiest among us, your own lives are forfeit. Certainly, your souls and morality were lost long before. Good riddance,” the message meant to be a verbal attack on the Congresswoman concluded.
While this could have been sent by a deranged middle-aged man from his aging mother’s basement, who was looking to feel powerful over people who really are, the same could have been said about Hodgkinson who fits a very similar description. The liberals are engrained with rage spoonfed them by their own political party who knows how easy it is to use these idiots to do their dirty work. Liberals are mentally ill enough to move forward with their verbal warnings if it will make them feel like a hero. It’s a series of attacks like this that will launch us into the brink of a civil war.

The divisiveness runs dangerously deep right now which wasn’t caused by our president, as the left likes to claim. It’s Democrats’ own propaganda that is causing these things to happen and they now have members of Congress’ blood on their hands. Proving that they consider putting Scalise in the hospital in critical condition as a win is the sickening responses to the shooting, seen first from the liberal group that the baseball shooter belonged to.

According to the Daily Caller, the shooter belonged to a group called “Terminate the Republican Party” who seemingly celebrated today’s assault.

“He was a regular commenter in the group, and some members decided to celebrate his disgusting act in a post,” the Daily Caller reported. “And it’s one, two, three shots you’re out at the old ball game!!!” member Mari-Ellen Cain wrote, making a joke out of the very serious matter.

“It certainly was a shock this morning,” Gingrich said. “I don’t think any of us expected today to take this turn. But it’s part of a pattern, as you saw the sign this guy was holding. You’ve had an increasing intensity of hostility on the left. Look, I talk to college students regularly who say to me if they are openly for Trump, they get threatened.”

McAuliffe was asked by a reporter at a press conference on the scene of the shooting in Alexandria, Virginia, what more could be done to protect congressmen after Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise and others were wounded by a gunman.

“We need to do more to protect all of our citizens. I have long advocated — this is not what today is about — but there are too many guns on the street,” the governor began his response.

“We lose 93 million Americans a day to gun violence,” he confidently asserted, without immediate correction by staff. “I have long talked about this.”
McAuliffe then gave examples of the kinds of gun restrictions he would like to see put in place.

“Background checks, shutting down gunshow loopholes,” he said. “That’s not for today’s discussion, but it’s not just about politicians. We worry about this every day for for all of our citizens.”

McAuliffe was trying to say before adding in “million” that 93 Americans are killed every day by firearms. That far smaller figure is promoted by the gun control group Everytown and comes from U.S. government research.

For those unaware, several Republican leaders were practicing for a charity baseball game when shots erupted. As it turns out, a gunman had asked if the people on the field were Republicans or Democrats before opening fire on several unsuspecting victims.

It has since been exposed that Hodgkinson was a flaming liberal and Bernie Sanders supporter who even volunteered on the former presidential candidate’s campaign. According to TMZ, Hodgkinson’s social media was rife with anti-Trump hatred. “Trump is Traitor,” one post read. “Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.” So, ultimately, it seems that the man would have been perfectly content to put a bullet in the president himself.

In the end, though, most people know that such a feat would be extremely difficult, so Hodgkinson decided to do what was second best – kill those who support Trump. Considering the fact that he asked who was on the field at the time, you can bet your butt that this is exactly what he was thinking.

For all we know, he could have been trying to spark a violent revolution, ending with what he expressed on Facebook – the death of President Donald Trump. Unfortunately for the crazed shooter but luckily for the rest of us, the only person who left in a body bag was him.

The left can pretend as though President Trump and his supporters are violent, but the truth continues to come out. The majority of politically-related violence carried out in this country comes from the left, and now, they’re escalating things to new levels.

Furthermore, they’re trying to use an incident that stemmed from their own ideology to enhance their political agenda and further strip Americans of their Second Amendment rights. However, when it comes down to it, this attempted killer was only stopped by a few good guys with guns, which effectively rips the left’s narrative to shreds.

As soon as a shooting unfolds, the left traditionally begins calling for further gun control, even though statistics prove that the best way combat gun violence is with less gun control. Don’t believe me? Just take a look at the city of Chicago, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country, yet struggles with an astronomical murder rate.

Unfortunately for the misguided liberals who would try to blame today’s shooting on the need to take firearms away from law-abiding citizens, there is one detail about the gun Hodgkinson used that will be very inconvenient for their narrative.

As it turns out, the AR-15 used by the shooter was already illegal in his home state. This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt an argument which conservatives have used from the very beginning; namely, that criminals do not follow gun laws. In other words, if the only people you are actually taking guns away from are those who follow the law and use them responsibility, you’re really not doing anyone any good.

“The weapon is not legal in Illinois,” said Judge Andrew Napolitano, according to The Gateway Pundit. “We don’t know where he got it or where he traveled from. It is legal at the time and place he used it, but it is not legal in his home state.”
Individuals like James T. Hodgkinson who are intent on doing harm will find a way to do it whether or not their means break the law. Did Scalise’s shooter care about the gun laws in Illinois when he obtained an AR-15? Obviously not. He cared only about doing harm to as many innocent individuals as possible, which is already against the law, so what would stop him from breaking one more?

That’s actually not a hypothetical question. It has an answer, and it’s simple. What would stop him is exactly what did stop him — a gun in the hands of a good guy.

Maxine Waters was at it again, running her big fat mouth, ratcheting up hate against President Donald Trump at a gay pride parade in West Hollywood, California. Waters has been the main instigator against Trump as she lies and spouts innuendos about the president, but this time, she went too far. Something unthinkable happened that she never saw coming, and it will piss you off. You don’t want to miss this.

Maxine Waters was delivering her usual spiel of hate and crazed calls for impeachment when she took it too far. Waters, wearing a rainbow bracelet and a Teeny-Bopper shoulderless top with a “resist ” sign taped to the podium, addressed the LBGTQ community. But, now, her words are coming back to haunt her.

“He is not my president. He is not your president. He lies. He cheats. He’s a bully. He disrespects us all. If he thinks he can mess with the LGBT community, he better look at what happened right here in West Hollywood. You deny, you disrespect, and you will find that there are people who have the courage to organize and to take back whatever needs to be taken back,” said the congresswoman representing the biggest gang infected area in the nation.

According to Breitbart, she said, “We resist this president because he stands for the worst of everything, he has got to go! And guess what, I know that people may not quite be ready. I know some are a little hesitant. I know some are saying I’m not so sure, Maxine, that what you are saying is the right thing, but I’m saying, impeach 45. Impeach 45.”

What is exactly Maxine Waters saying? Her words that President Trump lies, cheats, and disrespects “us all” are a build-up to get the audience going, but just what is the fall out of telling whacked out minds that they need to have the courage to take back whatever needs to be taken back? What happens when a nutjob hears her say, “Trump has got to go”?
A liberal loon in Alexandria, Virginia, who was a known Trump-hater, took a semiautomatic rifle and shot up a park after confirming there were GOP congressmen playing baseball there. He successfully hit Congressman Steve Scalise in the hip and wounded several others. This is what happens, and Waters is a big player who has caused this climate of hate.

“Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Ill., specifically blamed ‘political rhetorical terrorism’ –heated rhetoric on social media and in the news – for Wednesday’s shooting, in which House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and several others were wounded,” reports Fox News. “This is the result, I believe, of political rhetorical terrorism. That has to stop,” he told “America’s Newsroom.”
Donald Trump, Jr. and Rep. Chris Collins (R-N.Y.) also blamed those like Waters who constantly beat the drum of hate while others like Kathy Griffin and Snoop Dogg post violent images. Donald Trump Jr. re-tweeted, “Events like today are EXACTLY why we took issue with NY elites glorifying the assassination of our President.”

Collins didn’t mention Maxine Waters by name, but he sure aimed his comments in her direction, saying, “The rhetoric has been outrageous—the finger-pointing, just the tone and the angst and the anger directed at Donald Trump, his supporters. Really, then, you know, some people react to things like that. They get angry as well. And then you fuel the fires.”
Enough is enough. These losers like Waters know exactly what they are doing, supporting violent images and screaming hateful rhetoric 24/7. Sure, Maxine Waters has free speech, and she won’t stop, even after this shooting.

Those who understand the violent and oppressive fundamentals of Islam and its murderous history have served as harbingers of what’s to come if non-Muslim nations appease Muslims. Unfortunately, centuries after the Crusades thwarted the bloody conquest of Europe by the Ottoman Empire, the left hasn’t learned from history and has doomed us to repeat it. In fact, one revolutionary monk identified this cycle in the 16th century and wrote a series of works in an effort to prevent its reemergence.

Martin Luther is best known for nailing 95 debate questions on the door of Wittenburg Church on October 31, 1517. However, when this Augustinian monk wasn’t spurring the Protestant Reformation, he was sounding the righteous alarm on the world’s most dangerous ideology — Islam.

After being made an outlaw by Holy Roman Emperor Charles V for his controversial calls for reformation, Luther spent time in exile in Germany penning a blunt warning to both Christians and all non-Muslims alike. Luther concluded that the education system would be the deciding factor if the West would uphold freedom or fall to Islamic oppression. By the way that he wrote about the school systems, it’s almost as if he knew that the Islamization of education would enable Sharia law. Luther’s warning has already been proven in the UK with the ongoing Trojan Horse scandal in which Muslims have infiltrated schools to push Islamic indoctrination.
These Protestant dissenters are eerily similar to today’s liberals in that they protested against Charles V’s retaliation against the invading Turks. Hundreds of millions would go on to die during the Muslim conquests. One can only imagine what the ensuing chaos was like as James T. Hodgkinson III opened fire on unsuspecting members of Congress. Unfortunately, 5 people were injured in the attack, but luckily, only the attempted killer would end up in a body bag.

Of course, the news has since been swirling as information trickles out pertaining to the victims, the man responsible, and his intentions. However, there is one thing that seems to be underreported as there was actually another person that is deserving of attention.

According to Young Conservatives, onlookers were shocked just after the gunfire ended to see one man frantically running around the field. As it turns out, that man was actually Rep. Brad Wenstrup, and what he was doing hasn’t gained the attention that it should have.

For those unaware, Wenstrup was a combat surgeon during the Iraq War, and he rushed out to see who needed medical attention. Immediately, he ran over to Congressman Steve Scalise and quickly began to administer life-saving first aid to the wounds sustained during the attack.
“Fortunately, there was security detail there and Capitol Hill police, or we all would have been vulnerable,” Wenstrup later added. “I’m sure they saved — who knows how many lives. Let’s pray for those who got hit today.” He lastly noted that the incident was “like being in Iraq again, only without his weapon.”
As one would imagine, prayers and good wishes have flooded the internet for those wounded, but not all reactions have been positive. One can only imagine what the ensuing chaos was like as James T. Hodgkinson III opened fire on unsuspecting members of Congress. Unfortunately, 5 people were injured in the attack, but luckily, only the attempted killer would end up in a body bag.

Of course, the news has since been swirling as information trickles out pertaining to the victims, the man responsible, and his intentions. However, there is one thing that seems to be underreported as there was actually another person that is deserving of attention.

According to Young Conservatives, onlookers were shocked just after the gunfire ended to see one man frantically running around the field. As it turns out, that man was actually Rep. Brad Wenstrup, and what he was doing hasn’t gained the attention that it should have.

For those unaware, Wenstrup was a combat surgeon during the Iraq War, and he rushed out to see who needed medical attention. Immediately, he ran over to Congressman Steve Scalise and quickly began to administer life-saving first aid to the wounds sustained during the attack.
“Fortunately, there was security detail there and Capitol Hill police, or we all would have been vulnerable,” Wenstrup later added. “I’m sure they saved — who knows how many lives. Let’s pray for those who got hit today.” He lastly noted that the incident was “like being in Iraq again, only without his weapon.”
As one would imagine, prayers and good wishes have flooded the internet for those wounded, but not all reactions have been positive. Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) has now asked a very simple question: Did Trump or his allies collude with Moscow in order to hack the DNC emails and release them to the public? After six months of Democrats investigating, Cotton said, “To my knowledge, I don’t think a single one of them asked that question. That is because Jim Comey said last week, as he said to Donald Trump, that three times he assured him that he is not under investigation.”

So what was the point of Markos Moulitsas’ Tweet? Was it to gain attention or was he serious? If for attention, then fine – we get it. Everyone Tweets for attention and wants the next biggest trending topic. But if he was serious, then we have a bigger issue to talk about. People on the moderate right and left don’t want anyone to be hurt. Perhaps some extremists wish violence, but we see the majority of that perpetrated violence stemming from intolerant liberals who don’t realize they’re the problem and the reason Trump won Presidency in the first place.

The Verify First Act might become a reality soon and illegal immigrants are going to loathe every second of it. What happens, if that becomes a reality, is that illegal aliens will no longer qualify for taxpayer-funded health insurance credits. In order to get the health benefits, they’ll have to be verified as a citizen or sup I guess it’s another free ride over for some people and we already know democrats will fight this until their teeth fall out, so prepare for a rocky road to passing this in full and saving taxpayers money on freeloaders.

In order to get said benefits, then people will undergo verification of their citizenship or immigration status. After that, then I guess it’s all or nothing. I suppose the taxpayers are tired of funding illegal immigrants, especially those who do not work and pay any taxes into the system. I believe it should not target just illegal immigrants, but it should also target able-bodied people fit for work who refuse to work. In order for that to work properly, then minimum wage jobs must pay more than welfare and other benefits. There’s no point to get a minimum wage job when you can go on welfare and get paid just as much for NO work.

The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs reported that more than $700 million in Obamacare subsidies had been paid to ineligible aliens by 2015. It would be unconscionable to leave the same ineffective verification procedures in the American Health Care Act (AHCA).

$700 million could do a lot for some cities. Funding schools, paving roads, taking care of USA Veterans. There’s plenty of better things to do with money instead of give it away and get no return on investment.

The Verify First Act simply requires the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to actually verify the citizenship or immigration status of every applicant for a credit under the AHCA before the Treasury Department issues the credit.
This is fine, but like I mentioned before, there ARE hardworking Mexican families who contribute to jobs, raise their kids right, and are NOT violent. Those families should be taken care of while the squalor meat-bag people take a one way trip to their hometown. If you want to break into America, then fine – do some work and raise your kids right and get on the path to citizenship. That’s ALL people ask. Contribute to society so that everything you get from it, goes back into it, and we all live a nice life.
