Airports workers in Miami were left stunned when a giant UFO floated above them, lighting up the night sky.

They whipped out their phones and captured photos and video of the extraordinary sight.

‘Check that out, woah, it’s going to hit the tail of the plane,’ shouts one man, as the strange blue shape shifts slowly through the night sky.

After being shared on LiveLeak, the footage led to people comparing it to a similar event in Norway in 2009, and discussing what these strange blue lights in the sky could be.
