Raping & Killing: Iraqi authorities admit army’s torture of suspects in Mosul (DISTURBING CONTENT)
In other events in Iraq, the prime minister has acknowledged that security forces abused prisoners during the operation to oust the ISIS insurgents from Mosul.
Many were terrorism suspects who hadn’t faced trial. An investigation was launched after a photographer released pictures of the torture. RT talked to the photographer Ali Arkadi earlier, when the images came to light. He described what he witnessed.

Former IT staffer Imran Awan Indited by Grand Jury
Imran Awan, the former information technology aide to multiple Democratic members of Congress, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Weston, was indicted Thursday on four charges including bank fraud and engaging in unlawful monetary transactions.
Also indicted was Awan’s wife, Hina Alvi, who also worked as an IT aide in Democratic congressional offices.

Barcelona Terror: Attacker still on loose, 13 ppl killed, over 100 injured
Spain has endured it’s deadliest day in 13 years. 13 people died when a van was driven deliberately into pedestrians in Las Ramblas. To the south, in the resort of Cambrils, three pedestrians and three police officers were injured in a similar attack. Five terrorists were shot dead.
Islamic State claims to be behind the killings, but no direct link’s been established.
