U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the Western free world should work together to confront threats imposed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He revealed that a major international project is being planned to build communication infrastructure for use in the next few hundred years.

Pompeo reiterated that the CCP is not to be trusted, whether in its epidemic cover-up, its persecution of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang, or in the case of Hong Kong.

On the specific moves to confront the CCP, Pompeo announced that the U.S. is planning a major international program to protect the privacy and data security of citizens in the free world.

In addition, Pompeo called for the release of Xu Zhangrun, a renowned Chinese jurist who was recently detained after posting a series of articles criticizing the CCP.
