An ominous Ministry of Defense (MoD) report circulating in the Kremlin today has included in its order for the massive air defense exercise at the Erebuni military airbase in Armenia a warning to top commanders telling them to “prepare for war” and noting that it appears President Obama is no longer in charge of either his own, or North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) troops who currently continue to mass by the tens-of-thousands on the Western Front.

The Russia Deputy Defense Minister has recently learned that the Launch Targeting Array on the US Missiles in Poland and Romania have recently has been changed form Defensive to Offensive – targeting what he believes is Russian Cities – but the US refuses to share any information about this to Russia

Jean-Claude Juncker has a dream. The European Union Commission President can see a future where a common European home stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to its Pacific counterpart. This weekend, he told The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that “for the European Union and Russia, the prize, one day, could be great: a vast region governed by the rule of law, trading freely and working together on common projects.”

The news: On Tuesday, June 14th, NATO announced that if a NATO member country becomes the victim of a cyber attack by persons in a non-NATO country such as Russia or China, then NATO’s Article V “collective defense” provision requires each NATO member country to join that NATO member country if it decides to strike back against the attacking country . The preliminary decision for this was made two years ago after Crimea’s annexation to Russia. That NATO decision was made in anticipation of Ukraine’s ultimately becoming a NATO member country, which still hasn’t happened. However, only now is NATO declaring cyber war itself to be included as real “war” under the NATO Treaty’s “collective defense” provision.
