The man suspected of a fatal knife attack in Hamburg on Friday could have been deported years ago if the authorities hadn’t failed to act. That’s according to German media, which claims Berlin missed a deadline to return him to Norway, the country where he first applied for asylum.

YouTube will implement a new policy where content can be hidden & demonetized even if it isn’t in violation of their rules but merely flagged. And what are the standards? Violence, depiction of terrorism or extremist? No. Merely “controversial religious” or “supremacist” content as judged by organizations with a political bias. “Controversial religious” will likely include content that supports traditional marriage. Should YouTube and Facebook be regulated as a public utility to prevent their political censorship since they have a defacto monopoly?

‘Pentagon should declassify report on ‘child sex abuse’ by Afghan forces’ – Govt watchdog
The US government’s Afghanistan watchdog has urged the Pentagon to declassify a report detailing allegations of child sexual abuse by Afghan forces. The watchdog also cites the State Department as saying that the Afghan government has failed to meet human-rights standards and that Afghan officials are complicit in the sexual abuse of children by Afghan security forces.
