Discriminative Lockdown in Wuhan: Jobless Residents Deprived Their Freedom | CCP Virus | COVID-19
The removal of the lockdown in Wuhan on April 8 was touted by Chinese authorities as a big victory in combating the CCP virus epidemic. However, only those who have an acceptance letter from a company outside Wuhan are allowed to leave the city. Similarly, for residents who stay in Wuhan, only those who have a formal job can get in and out of the community. The jobless and retired residents are given a limited chance to leave their residential compounds.

A Chinese person in Canada whose relatives live in Wuhan, confirmed the situation when speaking to overseas Chinese media, Vision Times. He said that some residents are jobless, to begin with. Some have lost their jobs during the coronavirus outbreak. Regardless, they are all ordered to stay at home.
“Those who have a job are treated as useful slaves and those who don’t are considered useless in society. To put it simply, it is like a Nazi concentration camp. If you have work to do in one of the Nazi factories, you may leave the concentration camp. If you don’t have a job, you are a detainee inside the camp,” he said.
