Two wrongs don’t make a right. That idiom may be a cliche, but it perfectly applies to many situations of so-called “reverse racism.”

It could also apply to a small town in Mississippi, where a young black woman has earned valedictorian honors.

Instead of celebrating the accomplishment, however, the high school graduate made a sick move against the school district: She’s suing the school because she had to share the graduation stage with a white girl, who also earned a co-valedictorian title.
According to The Washington Post, Jasmine Shepard graduated from Cleveland High School in Mississippi last spring. Both she and a white student were given co-valedictorian honors, but Shepard and her family are still bitter about the shared title even a year later.

“Prior to 2016, all of Cleveland High School’s valedictorians were white,” the recently filed lawsuit states. “As a result of the school official’s unprecedented action of making an African-American student share the valedictorian award with a white student, the defendants discriminated against.”

The school district has a pretty good explanation for the shared title: Both students had identical grade point averages.
“As such, under school board policy, they were both named valedictorian of their graduating class,” Jamie Jacks, an attorney for the school district, explained. “The district’s policy is racially neutral and fair to students.”

Co-valedictorian honors for students with identical grades are fairly common in large schools. However, Sherry Shepherd, the mother of Jasmine, apparently believes that disagreeing with the school’s official GPA records makes them irrelevant.

“These children have been attending school with each other since middle school,” she said. “We know the schedule, we know what they take, and we have a good idea where the discrepancy lies.”

Shepherd and the lawsuit are demanding a cash payout for “monetary damages” from the school district. More shocking, however, is the lawsuit’s demand that the white student be stripped of her honors, so that Jasmine Shepard can be declared “sole valedictorian.”
The sad reality is that the student and her family would likely not be suing the school district if the co-valedictorian happened to also be black.

If the GPA numbers are in fact the same — a fact that is presumably easy to confirm — then it seems that the lawsuit is designed to punish a high-achieving student for daring to be white.

The fact that the lawsuit was recently filed an entire year after the graduation took place adds additional pettiness to the case.

A year after being named valedictorian, a student should be focused on their future, such as attending college or pursuing a career.

Instead of celebrating accomplishments, however, the lawsuit filers seem to be bitter about skin color. Stripping a well-earned valedictorian title from a white student is no better than doing so based on dark skin.

The simple fact is that treating a white person differently because of her race is just as bad as if the reverse were true.

It’s a call for special treatment based not on performance, but on race… and demanding the spotlight despite equal accomplishments is the opposite of equality.

Obama went on to claim that Trump’s policies will result in “more and more people arguing against democracy, we will see more and more people who are looking to restrict freedom of the press, and we’ll see more intolerance, more tribal divisions, more ethnic divisions, and religious divisions and more violence.”

Does Obama really think we are so stupid or so blind?Our country is already today being flooded with people who argue against democracy, preach intolerance and engage in terrorist violence.And it’s not patriotic Americans. It’s the waves of Sharia-loving immigrants that Obama let in!

Ginger joke-star Kathy Griffin has taken to Twitter once again, this time aiming to punch holes in President Trump after she symbolically beheaded him.“POTUS likes to punch down. Whether it’s anchors, US Attorneys, or stand-up comics. Meanwhile, millions are about to lose health insurance,” Griffin tweeted.Griffin shocked the world last month with a picture of herself holding the severed head of Donald Trump (No insult or injury there).

When the shenanigans hit the fan and Griffin was forced to go on the defensive, claiming to have received “death threats,” she hired civil attorney Lisa Bloom, held a press conference, and portrayed herself as the victim..
“A sitting president of the United States, and his grown children, and the first lady, are personally — I feel — personally trying to ruin my life forever,” Griffin, 56, said recently. “What’s happening to me has never happened, ever, in the history of this great country.”“This is America, and you shouldn’t have to die for [a joke.] The death threats I’m getting, they’re constant, and they are detailed, and they are serious, and they are specific. Today it’s me, and tomorrow it could be you,” Griffin said and added that Trump “picked on the wrong red-head.”

She obviously doesn’t know Donald Trump — or, for that matter, the law regarding making death threats.Griffin played with fire and she got burned. She’s going to continue getting burned and making a fool of herself, as do so many other shallow celebrities who dabble in liberal politics. And you can bet your last ginger snap that Kathy Griffin et al don’t use Obamacare.

President Trump recently gave his very first Independence Day speech this past Saturday in front of crowds of civilian and military families. Now he’s made an announcement about his plans for the day, and liberals are not going to be very happy.

The Washington Examiner reports that President Trump is going to spend Independence Day at the White House with some of our fine military and their families for a night that they will never forget. The traditional dinner and festivities go back decades, and now we have a REAL reason to celebrate. Our country is finally back on the path to being GREAT again!
Their day is going to start out on the South Lawn for a picnic and time to sit outside and enjoy the weather. It is going to be an amazing occasion, and there are, without a doubt, going to be tales told from the brave soldiers attending the event.

After the picnic, everyone is going to gather on top of the Truman Balcony to get ready for the fireworks as dusk approaches. It is times like this that show how far we have come as a country, and how much work we still have yet to do.Personally, we are hoping to see great coverage of heartwarming stories about veterans from around the country. Call it a hunch, but we have a feeling the mainstream news outlets are going to be using this occasion to ramble about talks of impeachment and treason.It is pathetic that these people cannot get together for ONE day and honor our country. We should all be proud to be Americans and to celebrate each other on our Independence Day.

While the talking heads in the mainstream media are crying foul over President Donald Trump’s infamous Wrestlemania tweet, it appears to be a smash hit among ordinary folk.

According to SocialBearing.com, the tweet is – by far – @realDonaldTrump’s most retweeted post, ever, with 315,796.

Trump’s next highest tweet in terms of retweets (a message about his trip to the Middle East) sits at 87,166.

The social media analysis site’s audit found that it is also – by far – his most ‘liked’ tweet, with 522,533 likes. His next most ‘liked’ tweet (a shoutout to wounded GOP Rep. Steve Scalise) sits at 41,314.

Of course, you’d never guess so many people are thrilled about the tweet – at least not based on the way mainstream media pundits have reacted to it.

CNN’s Brian Stelter called the tweet “scary, dangerous” during a broadcast yesterday, stating, “who knows which outlet will be next. Who’s going to speak up? Are other media outlets going to speak up? I think they will today.”
Meanwhile on ABC News, NeverTrumper and CNN commentator Ana Navarro frothed over Trump’s tweet, slamming it as “an incitement to violence.”

“He is taking things way too far,” she claimed.

Barack Hussein Obama is upfront on his criticisms of the Bible. But when did he ever call out Islam or the Koran? We’re talking about the book that says it’s okay to kill infidels (anyone who isn’t a Muslim).

But, before he moved our country so far to the Left, he had to pretend to pay tribute to Christianity to so the unseeing masses would vote for him. A complete hypocrite!

But Obama was never a Christian. What kind of Christian supports abortion; the murder of innocent children that is completely contrary to God’s law? What kind of Christian throws his support behind gay marriage, which perverts the sanctity of marriage as God himself instituted it? What kind of Christian supports the Leftist state, which seeks to replace worship of God with the worship of the State.
