-Police and other emergency services in Wisconsin are responding to reports of an active shooter at an office building in Middleton, local officials say. There are reports of multiple victims.
The incident began at about 10;25 a.m. on Wednesday when officers were called to reports of a shooting at 1850 Deming Way, which is home to a software company and other offices.
โThere is an actives hooter in the area please lock all doors, stay inside, and shelter in place. Police officers are on scene at this time,โ the Middleton Police Department said in an emergency message to area residents.
According to initial reports, there are several victims, but the exact number was not immediately known. Greenway Station Mall and nearby schools have been put on lockdown.
