Beijing has announced plans to start a crude oil futures contract priced in yuan and convertible into gold. The step might lead to the emergence of a new Asia-based crude oil benchmark to compete with Brent or West Texas Intermediate futures.
Two days after the WSJ confirmed Maduro’s earlier threat that he would stop accepting US Dollars as payment for crude oil imports, Venezuela has done just that.
As a reminder, and as we reported previously, in an effort to circumvent U.S. sanctions, Venezuela told oil traders that it will no longer receive or send payments in dollars. As a result, oil traders who export Venezuelan crude or import oil products into the country have begun converting their invoices to euros.
China has limited access to a nature reserve on its border with North Korea after mysterious seismic shakes at the rogue nation’s nuclear test site were detected less than ten minutes after it launched a missile earlier this month.
Beijing repotedly closed the site over fears that underground detonations by the North Koreans at a facility near Punggye-ri could lead to rock slides and even trigger an eruption of the active volcano Mount Paektu, which is sacred to North Korea and located right on the border between the two countries.

Hillary Clinton was so frustrated about the infamous scandal surrounding her use of a private email server that she was “tempted” to construct voodoo dolls in the images of “certain members” of the news media and Congress, and then “stick them full of pins.”
North Korea has fired a ballistic missile, which reportedly passed through Japan’s airspace near Hokkaido, triggering a public alert. It’s believed to have fallen in the Pacific Ocean some 2,000 km east of the island.
“North Korea fired an unidentified missile eastward from the vicinity of Pyongyang this morning,” the JCS said. The missile reached an altitude of 770 km and covered a distance of 3,700 km before falling into the ocean, according to South Korea’s military.
Canada’s Competition Bureau, an arm’s length agency funded by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government to the tune of almost $50 million annually, investigated three organizations accused of denying mainstream climate science for over a year, following a complaint from an environmental group.

In Hillary Clinton’s book, What Happened, Hillary Clinton makes the strange comparison, of herself to none other than the Game of Thrones character, and widley seen as the villain of the story, Cersei Lannister #GameofThrones #HillaryClinton #WhatHappened
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s campaign memoir includes a questionable interpretation of the central lesson of George Orwell’s novel “1984,” namely that individuals should trust those in positions of authority.
Clinton’s memoir “What Happened,” released Tuesday, suggests the goal of the government-sanctioned torture featured prominently in Orwell’s novel is to erode trust in the authoritarian overlords who control all aspects of society. This perspective is diametrically opposed to the central lesson most readers have drawn from the book since it was published in 1949.
Amazon has been monitoring and deleting reviews after Hillary Clinton’s new book was greeted with a torrent of criticism on the day it was released.
What Happened, which covers the former Secretary of State’s unsuccessful election campaign against Donald Trump, was published on Tuesday. Clinton and her publisher Simon & Schuster claimed the book would offer a candid account of her failure and her own reflection on it.

On The GoldFish Report No. 129, Winston Shrout joins Louisa in welcoming Scott Werner, a medical doctor who ended up in a battle with the ‘medical establishment’ over a natural treatment that cured his Cancer. Dr. Warner gives an impassioned testimony of how the government raided his clinic, took his medical license, put him in prison and fined him for curing diseases by removing the parasites, and fungi that are believed to be the root cause of many diseases. After several near death experiences, Dr. Werner began ‘intuitively’ identifying diseases and with the help of ascended masters, has helped many people take control back of their health. Scott Werner is the author of three books about his journey that are available on Amazon, and for more information about Parasite Cleansing you can find a link here at http://ift.tt/2wq20Wu. I’ve been having a very challenging time the last few nights just getting to sleep. Something’s going on. Energies feel very “high”, like they’re unable to “rest”. Not sure if others are getting this symptom, but it seems like I am…

Following a series of “almost simultaneous” warnings that shopping centers, railway stations and university buildings in Moscow had been rigged with explosives, authorities ordered the evacuation of more than 45,000 people on Wednesday.
The federal government is worried some refrigerators and coffee pots could pose a national security risk, and it’s taking action.
Colorado’s U.S. Senator Cory Gardner among a bi-partisan group of senators who are sponsoring legislation to secure the so-called Internet of Things – everyday devices that are embedded with computer chips and sensors.
Gardner says those devices can be used as weapons of mass disruption.
“The federal government orders billions of dollars worth of Internet of Things devices each and every year,” says Gardner. “These are things that can be hacked into. You can try to control systems, instruments with them. You can certainly read what people are doing and maybe even eavesdrop on a conversation people are having.”
For centuries, nothing much happened in Pont-Saint-Esprit, a sleepy village in southern France. Perched on the banks of the River Rhone, people lived there much as they had done since Medieval times.
Indeed, throughout the great dramas of the past 100 years, peasant farmers toiled in the fields while housewives browsed for cheeses, bread and other local produce at the village market.
Hillary Clinton says Bernie Sanders’s reluctance to concede the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination before the party’s convention was disrespectful, hurtful and stood in stark contrast to the way she handled her primary loss to Barack Obama in 2008.
It’s being called the largest exercise of any kind in Washington state history, and it’s all about getting ready for what scientists say is coming: a magnitude 9 earthquake and ensuing tsunami.
