Harbin is one of the cities hardest-hit by the CCP virus pandemic. Air pollution has been very serious for the past several days. The city declared a red alert (unhealthy level) for PM 2.5 on April 18 around 10 a.m..
Almost all factories, restaurants, and shops are shut down. Only a few vehicles are running on the street, so where does the thick smog come from?

Yu Ming, who posted this video on Twitter, said there was a pungent odor in the air, many of his friends in Harbin told him they woke up because of the odor!
Several Chinese netizens who left comments following Yu’s tweet indicated the thick smog was due to the cremation of the CCP virus dead.

Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks paid a personal tribute to Wright State University’s graduating Class of 2020, calling them “the chosen ones” as they make their way through the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic. Hanks delivered a five-minute video message that was played May 2 during a virtual ceremony for students graduating from the university’s Department of Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures. In the video, Hanks said the students have been “chosen” in many ways, including because of their ability to overcome the challenges of the times. “You are the chosen ones because of a fate unimagined when you began your Wright State adventures,” said Hanks. “You started in the olden times, in a world back before the Great Pandemic of 2020.
