The vote for membership in the CSW was held on April 19, leading to Saudi Arabia joining the 45-member body. Seven states abstained while another 47 voted ‘yes’ at the UN’s Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Swedish Foreign Ministry told local media.
Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom noted, however, that the delegation could not vote against Saudi Arabia, as there was no such option. She also said that the procedure was held by secret ballot so the diplomats would not be under any pressure.

Saudi women truly have zero rights in society. Ranking Saudi Arabia among the 10-worst-countries for women, the Toronto Star wrote, “In oil-rich Saudi Arabia, women are treated as lifelong dependents, under the guardianship of a male relative. Deprived of the right to drive a car or mix with men publicly, they are confined to strictly segregated lives on pain of severe punishment.” So, imagine the surprise and dismay the world is now exhibiting with the knowledge the United Nations has elected Saudi Arabia as a member of its Women’s Rights Commission called the “Commission on the Status of Women.”

Geneva-based UN Watch president Hillel Neuer likened the election to, “making an arsonist into the town Fire Chief!” Neuer went on a Twitter tirade to drive home the significance of his opposition to allowing Saudi Arabia to have a seat anywhere near a women’s rights council.
“The news the @UN never wanted you to see—but we made it go viral. Saudi Arabia elected to women’s rights commission,” he tweeted. Calling on opponents to rise up, he stated, “But why not show moral courage & condemn this UN betrayal of Saudi women’s rights activists? UNESCO’s chief condemned its election of Syria.”
And in another tweet, he said, “How does Saudi Arabia win seats on U.N. human rights bodies? Cash & secret deals—even with adversaries like Russia.” Neuer’s reference to Saudi money, certainly a factor in buying their way onto the commission, is nothing new. In one Executive Order President Trump just destroyed the United Nations Agenda 21 – now upgraded to Agenda 30.
Agenda 21 is a United Nations Platform put forth in a 351 page Manual “Requesting” that all nations move to a Sustainable Growth.
Translation: Reduce the World’s Population to around 400 Million People living in Abject Poverty with the next 3 years.
Updated recently to Agenda 30 this population Reduction will be accomplished by the year 2030 and, according to the Chief Jesuit General in an interview, the Opening of the Temple Of Lucifer in Jerusalem to be completed in the year 2032.
The Primary Precept of these United Nations Agenda’s is to more almost every one into the cities and then destroy them through various means – Poisoned Foods, Mandatory Vaccinations, Plagues, Wars, etc.
So – if the smaller towns are occupied by people the Agenda’s are destroyed.
Two things happened in 1980 that began forcing people out of small towns:
1) First – the Consent Decree. On 1 March 1980 the 9th Cicuit Court of appeals ruled that to be hired by the USA Forest Service as a Category 460 Employee (Forester) you must be woman or Black. Within 7 years the Forest Service Logging Industry – supplying vast amounts of timber – was dead.
This ruling was then used to lock White Males out of Forestry across the nation in State Forestry Programs.
Without this timber small towns simply die across America.
In 1986 I found myself at a Lunch prepared by Colonel Wiggins at his home near DC and met with the Head of the US Forest Service – Max Peterson. Colonel Wiggins son and I went to Engineer Officer’s Basic Course together near DC.
Max was wearing a Light Blue and white striped suit and was very plump.
I asked Max why he allowed the Consent Decree and why he did not take it to the US Supreme Court and over turn it and he said: “It was a sign of the times.”
So here is an example of what happened: In 1990 I applied for a Forrest Engineer Position here in Washington State. I was the highest rated Forest Engineer they had ever evaluated so all across the state – for 2 years – they would not fill the position and when I spoke to “Governor Goofy” (Mike Lowry) about it he told me they could not hire me because I was a White Male.
Logging on state lands (25% revenue goes to schools) stopped and so did maintenance on Elementary Schools. When I went to the State Forestry Office in Enumclaw 3 years later I discovered that the Forest Engineer position was filled with a gal with no college diploma and she was the official Birthday Party Planner for the office.

An AP investigation, drawing on internal UN reports and testimony from victims, states that nearly 2,000 allegations of sexual exploitation have been levelled against peacekeepers worldwide in the past 12 years.
The investigation uncovered more than 300 allegations involving the sexual abuse of children, some as young as 12.

A number of allegations stem from field missions in Haiti, where, according to AP, 134 Sri Lankan peacekeepers operated a sex ring between 2004 and 2007, involving nine children.
Peacekeepers from Bangladesh, Brazil, Jordan, Nigeria, Pakistan and Uruguay were also implicated in abuse cases, with some abusers said to have coerced victims into performing sexual acts, using food and money in a number of locations around the world. In some cases the abuse is said to have taken place in UN branded trucks.
The AP report states that “only a fraction of the alleged perpetrators served jail time.”…

WASHINGTON (INTELLIHUB) — As the war drums beat in Washington and other parts of the world the people of America are still demanding answers in regards to shady actions taken by top-ranking officials in the Obama Administration to unmask members of the Trump Campaign leading up to the election which allowed for their surveillance.
Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) came forth Friday in a press conference to address Devin Nunes’ departure from the investigation process and and explained how he feels “it’s in the best interest of the investigation.”
Nunes stepped aside due to an ethics investigation which was thrown at him after two left-wing groups filed complaints.
Rep. Schiff acknowledged that while Nunes’ decision was likely a “difficult” one for him to make, he said that the investigation still needs to move forward.
Adding to the controversy, Bloomberg View columnist Eli Lake joined Fox & Friends Saturday to talk about why the Susan Rice scandal is not going away.
“We’ve focused on the unmasking element, now is a legitimate question to sort of say: why was the national security adviser receiving fairly granular, raw, summaries of intelligence that were dealing with the Trump transition?” Lake questioned aloud. “Why was she getting stuff like that to begin with?”

But my view of this is that whatever the NSC (National Security Council) is, and has become, it needed to be changed, reined in, deconstructed. I see this as more than just an “internal WH shakeup”. Steve Bannon Removed From Trump’s National Security Council
In what the biggest shake-up at the White House since Mike Flynn resigned in February, moments ago Bloomberg reported that President Trump has reorganized his National Security Council on Wednesday, removing his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon as well as downgrading the role of his Homeland Security Adviser, Tom Bossert, while elevating national intelligence director, Dan Coats, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Marine Corps General Joseph Dunford, who will again be “regular attendees” of the NSC’s principals committee.
According to Reuters, Bannon’s removal from the NSC was seen as a boost to national security adviser H.R. McMaster, who officials said has struggled to work together with Bannon.
McMASTER has made it clear inside WH that he wants NSC to be non-political, especially as he crafts NSC strategy for admin…
The WSJ adds that “the decision to boot Bannon was made by Trump’s new national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster” while another senior administration official said Mr. Trump “signed off on all the changes.”
Bannon said in a statement: “Susan Rice operationalized the NSC during the last administration. I was put on to ensure that it was de-operationalized. General McMaster has returned the NSC to its proper function.”

(R-KY) was in the lion’s den trying to explain why Susan Rice’s actions pose serious concerns. He tried pointing out that for years, libertarians and progressives both voiced civil liberties concerns over unconstitutional, widespread surveillance tactics employed by the federal government, but the fine folks at MSNBC just laughed and scoffed at him.
As you know, the media’s narrative in responding to the Susan Rice story is that it’s a non-story, and that anyone who even raises questions about Susan Rice is a conspiracy theorist, well deserving of the harshest ridicule.
(At the same time, anyone who questions the media’s completely unsubstantiated story about collusion between Russia and Trump is a conspiracy theorist…go figure.)
On MSNBC, Senator Rand Paul stated his case quite clearly how important it was that there be an investigation into Susan Rice’s actions, and to find out how much of what she did and requested was at President Obama’s behest.
“If you want to look at an American’s phone call or listen to it, you should have to have a warrant, the old fashioned way, in a real court, where both sides get represented,” he explained. “But a secret warrant by a secret court with a lower standard level because we’re afraid of terrorism is one thing for foreigners, but both myself and a progressive Ron Wyden have been warning about these backdoor searches for years, and that they could be politicized.”
He continued: “The facts will come out with Susan Rice, but I think she ought to be under subpoena. She should be asked, ‘Did you talk to the President about it? Did President Obama know about this?’”
“So this is actually eerily similar to what Trump accused them of, which is eavesdropping on conversations for political purposes,” he said.
At that point, commentator Bill Press weighed in, saying it was “totally different.”
Later, Paul put Trump’s tweet in context: “We don’t have wires in our phones anymore — no one actually taps wires,” he told the MSNBC panel. “But for the most part we use the term ‘wiretapping’ to mean eavesdropping… Now we know that someone in the Obama administration was eavesdropping, and specifically searching the databank looking for Trump people. That is a big deal.”
Well, it would be a big deal to these media pundits, if Dick Cheney had done this to the incoming Obama administration. (Maybe they did.) But since Trump is the target now, it’s “totally different.”

President Trump has slammed global warming as an elaborate hoax and forced the United Nations to stop making it compulsory for nations to contribute funding to global climate change programs.
G20 officials who met on Friday announced that “climate change is out for the time being” after President Trump dismantled Barack Obama and Angela Merkel’s old blueprint for compulsory financial donations to the cause.
Asked about the cut in funding to global climate change programs, Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s budget director, told reporters “we consider that to be a waste of (Americans’) money.”
“I think the president is fairly straightforward. We’re not spending money on that,” he said.
Instead the money is being poured into long-ignored domestic infrastructure projects, such as the $100 million Flint water crisis solution granted to Michigan by Trump’s EPA last week.
Reuters reports: Opposition from the United States, Saudi Arabia and others has forced Germany to drop a reference to financing programmes to combat climate change from the draft communique at a G20 finance and central bankers meeting.
A G20 official taking part in the meeting said on Friday that efforts by the German G20 presidency to keep the wording on climate change financing had run into resistance.
“Climate change is out for the time being,” said the official, who asked not to be named.
At their last meeting in July 2016 in the Chinese city of Chengdu, the G20 financial leaders said they encouraged all signatories of the Paris Agreement on climate change to bring the deal into force as soon as possible.
But U.S. President Donald Trump, who took office in November, has called global warming a “hoax” concocted by China to hurt U.S. industry and vowed to unpick the Paris climate accord that is supposed to curb rising temperatures.
Under the Chinese G20 presidency, finance ministers last year called on all governments to implement financial commitments made under the Paris deal in a “timely” way and promised to continue working on climate finance in 2017.
Trump’s administration on Thursday proposed a 31 percent cut to the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget, as the White House seeks to eliminate climate change programmes and trim initiatives to protect air and water quality.

The White House has announced a major retreat from the U.N. after Trump ordered a massive 50 percent cut in U.S. funding for United Nations programs.
The White House is scheduled to release its 2018 budget on Thursday which is expected to include cuts of up to 37 percent for spending on the State Department, the USAID, and other foreign assistance programs, including the U.N. (which amounts to around $10 billion a year).
