One of the most recent examples is senior CDC scientist Dr. William Thompson, who published some of the most commonly cited pro-vaccine studies. These studies purported to show that there was absolutely no link between the MMR vaccine and autism (Thompson, et al. 2007, Price, et al. 2010, Destefano, et al. 2004).
