I write in an effort to shame Greg Hood and his handlers in the Australian Government who have ordered the Chief Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau to refuse to release material about the search and the tracking of the missing MH Flight 370 and have threatened two years of jail time for bureau employees who provide any such information.
Do you have any whistle blower protection laws in Australia and if not why not?
Some ATSB officers have doubts about the agency’s official line that MH370’s pilots were unconscious or dead in a “ghost flight” which ended with the Boeing 777 going down in an unpiloted crash as expressed to victim families who seek documents, according to the Australian, giving: ‘opinions of international experts, including from the US and British air crash agencies, Boeing, aerospace group Thales, and British satellite group Inmarsat, about satellite data that automatically tracked the course of MH370.’
The ATSB Chief Commissioner may be trying to avoid a charge of spoliation of, or tampering with, evidence in e-discovery matters, where records in electronic form such as SMS messages are often difficult to retrieve or monitor.
It is impossible that those in charge of the high-tech, cutting-edge Pine Gap facility lost track of MH370 as it flew down the West Australian coast to be ditched in the Southern oceans.
If they did, what is the purpose of this facility in regard to the protection of Australia from attack by hostile neighbours to the north?

In the yoga tradition we encounter a fascinating metaphor: it is said that the milk of a lioness is so potent that no container can hold it except for pure gold. If the golden vessel has impurities, the milk will eat through the vessel like acid at those points, and drain away. In the same way, if the practitioner has too many ‘energy leaks’ then the spiritual energy (shakti) that is generated through yogic practice will simply leak away again.
Have you ever been to a yoga retreat or meditation weekend that was so inspiring and empowering that you felt sure your life was going to change radically, only to find within days or weeks of returning home that all that extra juice had seeped away, returning you to much the same default state you had before the retreat? If so, you’re not alone. This is a very common experience. Because energy leaks.
Once you know what the main energy leaks are, you can set about plugging them. If you manage to plug most of them, you will experience something astonishing: the very same yogic practices you’ve been doing all along now seem to generate much more power, energy, prāṇa. In fact, they’re not generating more, you’re just not leaking it away.
Systematically addressing these ‘leaks’ shifts the playing field of spiritual practice radically. Of course, it can take time to address them — but it’s time and effort well-spent, that repays its investment more generously than you might imagine.

Easily the most common energy leak in today’s society, overdoing means having a plate that is too full, leaving little time for the relaxation, play, and social bonding that humans evolved with for most of their history. These are not only necessary for health, they create a body-mind container that can hold the energy generated by spiritual practice. By contrast, an exhausted body-mind is riddled with ‘holes’ out of which that energy drains away. Your conditioned mind might be convinced that you can’t afford to do less; but really, you can’t afford not to. Each person in your life is a teacher. Each experience in your life is a lesson. Living is like looking into a mirror– every teacher is you. Every event and ever relationship reflects yourself. With more numbers coming from the French Interior Ministry, as of 11:31 p.m. local time Macron’s lead is growing to 23.61% as more city votes are counted, vs Le Pen 22.20%, with 41 Million votes counted, or 85.4% of the total. The gap is likely to expand as the final votes are tallied.

The devastation in the US retail sector is accelerating in 2017, and in addition to the surging number of brick and mortar retail bankruptcies, it is perhaps nowhere more obvious than in the soaring number of store closures.
While the shuttering of retail stores has been a frequent topic on this website, most recently in the context of the next “big short”, namely the ongoing deterioration in the mall REITs and associated Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities and CDS, here is a stunning fact from Credit Suisse:“Barely a quarter into 2017, year-to-date retail store closings have already surpassed those of 2008.”
According to the Swiss bank’s calculations, on a unit basis, approximately 2,880 store closings were announced YTD, more than twice as many closings as the 1,153 announced during the same period last year. Historically, roughly 60% of store closure announcements occur in the first five months of the year. By extrapolating the year-to-date announcements, CS estimates that there could be more than 8,640 store closings this year, which will be higher than the historical 2008 peak of approximately 6,200 store closings, which suggests that for brick-and-mortar stores stores the current transition period is far worse than the depth of the credit crisis depression…

Don’t you love it when globalists accidentally turn on one another??
Back in December we wrote about the efforts of Facebook to combat the spread of “fake news” over social media with the introduction of a filter intended to flag ‘fake’ content so that users wouldn’t haven’t to go through the hassle of critically analyzing information on their own. As we noted at the time, it was a genius plan, except for one small issue: who determines what is considered “fake news” and how exactly do they draw those conclusions? The first problem, however, immediately emerges because as NBC notes, “legitimate news outlets won’t be able to be flagged”, which then begs the question who or what is considered “legitimate news outlets”, does it include the likes of NYTs and the WaPos, which during the runup to the election declared on a daily basis, that Trump has no chance of winning, which have since posted defamatory stories about so-called “Russian propaganda news sites”, admitting subsequently that their source data was incorrect, and which many consider to be the source of “fake news”.Also, just who makes the determination what is considered “legitimate news outlets.”
Now, it seems as though the first confirmed victim of Facebook’s ‘fake news’ crusade may be none other than the Chicago Tribune, a newspaper that undoubtedly considers itself a “legitimate news outlet.”
The discovery was highlighted in an article written by the Chicago Tribune’s own Deputy Editor for Digital News, Kurt Gessler, who noted that a curious thing happened back in December when Facebook first changed up its algorithms to target fake news, namely their traffic crashed. Per the chart below, the typical Tribune post went from attracting the interest of 30-35k people down to 15-20k people in a matter of months.
Meanwhile, the number of Tribune articles shared over Facebook that reached less than 10,000 viewers (i.e. the “duds”) skyrocketed while the number of highly successful articles, those reaching 50,000+ people, simultaneously plunged.
So, either the Chicago Tribune suddenly started producing a lot of garbage that no one wanted to read, which just happened to coincide with the implementation of Facebook’s new “fake news” algo, or the media outlet was pumping out content that Facebook suddenly figured to fit the definition of ‘fake’.
Certainly, the issue couldn’t be attributed to a loss of followers….
…or less content creation.
Perhaps Facebook’s algos are better at identifying “fake news” than we thought.

Kiwi Comedian John Clarke recorded his final TV comedy show in Australia last week, featuring fake news and alternative facts before suddenly dying. “He was very fit,” his heartbroken friends and family say. Clarke and Bryan Dawe ran a satirical segment on Australia’s ABCTV every Thursday for 25 years.
The final Clarke and Dawe episode ran this week, days after Clarke’s unexpected death. A note before the special says it was recorded April 5, days before Clarke’s death at age 68 “of natural causes” while hiking in the Grampians National Park in Victoria on April 9.
Friend and former colleague Ross Stevenson said Clarke died from a heart attack.
In the popular two-man ABC series each week, Bryan Dawe interviewed Clarke, who would pretend to be a prominent spokesperson on a particular subject. He often played the role of prime minister in the series, covering the latest political news with a comical flare only his remarkable wit and talent could achieve.
After Australia’s then-Prime Minister John Howard refused to formally apologize to indigenous Aboriginal people for past human rights abuse atrocities, the actor, who happened to have the same name as the nation’s leader, read a moving apology on television. The 2000 skit on The Games was one of many culturally iconic moments created by John Clarke, beloved comedian and satirist.
In this final episode (below), Clarke plays the role of Richard Shinery, a specialist from a fictional company who explains things – like crowdfunding, ScarJo, “fake news” and “alternative facts” – to people who “haven’t got it yet”.
All week, Clarke’s death has seen outpourings of grief from family, friends and fans in New Zealand, where he was famous for creating the character Fred Dagg in the 1970s, and from Australia.
Clarke and Dawe had also dedicated a program, one of their best, to the United States presidential election
