“As we improve our understanding of ancient Earth and the history of our solar system, perhaps we may someday uncover evidence that suggests the activity of another technological civilization right here in our neighborhood,” says Andrew Siemion, the director of Berkeley’s SETI Research Center.
One of the open questions of astrobiology is whether there is extant or extinct life elsewhere the Solar System. Astronomer Jason Wright at Penn State says that we are looking for microbial or, at best, unintelligent life, even though technological artifacts might be much easier to find. Searches for alien artifacts in the Solar System typically presumes that the origins such artifacts would be from beyond our Solar System, even though life is known to have existed in the Solar System, on Earth, for eons.
But if a prior technological, perhaps spacefaring, species ever arose in the Solar System, it might have produced artifacts or other technosignatures that have survived to present day.
The origins and possible locations for technosignatures of such a prior indigenous technological species might have arisen on ancient Earth or another body, such as a pre-greenhouse Venus (image shown above NASA’s Pioneer Venus Orbiter took this false color image of Venus’ clouds ) or a wet Mars. In the case of Venus, the arrival of its global greenhouse and potential resurfacing might have erased all evidence of its existence on the Venusian surface. Experts at the University of Edinburgh analysed mysterious symbols carved onto stone pillars at Gobekli Tepe in southern Turkey, to find out if they could be linked to constellations.

Mysterious Druid Tunnel Network Mapped in Scotland » The Event Chronicle
Scientists working on behalf of Edinburgh University’s School of Geosciences have discovered that a set of tunnels and caves beneath the town of Glimerton near Edinburgh are much more extensive than previously thought and could indicate the existence of a hidden underground druid temple.
A druid (Welsh) was a member of the high-ranking professional class in ancient Celtic cultures. While perhaps best remembered as religious leaders, they were also legal authorities, adjudicators, lorekeepers, medical professionals and political advisors.
The earliest known references to the druids date to the fourth century BCE and the oldest detailed description comes from Julius Caesar’s Commentarii de Bello Gallico (50s BCE).

Evidence of Ancient Megalithic Culture in Massachusetts Revealed For the First Time » The Event Chronicle
In the gorgeously rustic country hills of Northern Ireland, about an hour north of Derry, is the tiny hamlet of Laraghirril. (Stillness in the Storm Editor) With all the talk of ancient cities allegedly found in Antarctica, I came upon the following article during my research. Purportedly a TV crew went missing in 2002, leaving behind footage captured during their time in the southernmost continent. The footage apparently reveals ancient ruins under the ice. Navy rescuers recovered the video, but the government is not allowing it to be revealed to the public, so the story goes according to Jonathan Gray of World Education Research Ltd.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to confirm any aspects of this story. However, there is also a surprising lack of outlets debunking Grey’s contention. Thus, this story remains another tale that is almost unprovable, until more data becomes available.
Considering recent testimony made by whistleblowers about the icy southern continent being home to large and extraterrestrially occupied cities, perhaps there is more to this assertion by Grey.
For now, this lost footage story is something to keep an eye on as it has been said that more talk of ancient cities below the ice in Antarctica is will be revealed in the coming months. As always, discernment is advisable.

A California TV crew missing since November 2002, a video they left behind and a mission by U.S. Navy SEALs are the key elements in a story that claims extensive ancient ruins have been found under the ice of Antarctica. A spokesman for the company is reported to have said at the time that The U.S. government said it will seek to block the airing of a video found by Navy rescuers in Antarctica that purportedly reveals that a massive archaeological dig is underway two miles (3,200 meters) beneath the ice.
