Trump, who started the Twitter rant at 5:30am US eastern time, branded the claims a “new low” before appearing to call Obama a “bad (or sick) guy”.

The property tycoon turned politician wrote: “How low has President Obama gone to tap my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!”

Watergate refers the early 1970s political scandal which forced the resignation of Republican President Richard Nixon when it emerged that the Democratic party’s headquarters had been broken into.

He also tweeted: “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!”

McCarthyism is the practise of making accusations without proper evidence.

He later added: “Is it legal for a sitting President to be “wire tapping” a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier. A NEW LOW!”

Continuing his rant on his personal social media account, Trump wrote: “I’d bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election!”

It is not clear what information Trump based his Tweets on.

But on Friday, Breitbart News reported on radio host Mark Levin’s claims that Obama had been involved in a “silent coup” using “police state” tactics during the election campaign.

Many of the technologies we now take for granted were quiet revolutions in their time. Just think about how much smartphones have changed the way we live and work. It used to be that when people were out of the office, they were gone, because a telephone was tied to a place, not to a person. Now we have global nomads building new businesses straight from their phones. And to think: Smartphones have been around for merely a decade.

We’re now in the midst of another quiet revolution: blockchain, a distributed database that maintains a continuously growing list of ordered records, called “blocks.” Consider what’s happened in just the past 10 years:

  • The first major blockchain innovation was bitcoin, a digital currency experiment. The market cap of bitcoin now hovers between $10–$20 billion dollars, and is used by millions of people for payments, including a large and growing remittances market.
  • The second innovation was called blockchain, which was essentially the realization that the underlying technology that operated bitcoin could be separated from the currency and used for all kinds of other interorganizational cooperation. To compliment these, hundreds (if not thousands) of high-ranking whistleblowers have also shared their stories.

The topic is currently leaving the realm of the fringe and entering into the mainstream at a rapid pace. Just as there was evidence for UFOs, there is also evidence that some of them are indeed extraterrestrial in origin.

He immediately flipped out and denied that he had any connections with the McCain Institute for International Leadership. It was founded in 2012 at Arizona State University with $9 million in leftover money from McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign.

“I’m proud that the institute is named after me, but I have nothing to do with it — except that they use my name just as the Goldwater Institute uses Goldwater’s name,” McCain said after a town hall.

The Saudi donation was reported on by Bloomberg politics last year. The nonprofit was given this donation by Saudia Arabia in 2014, according to the IRS.

According to Bloomberg, some people in 2016 sad that McCain’s non-profit effectively gives pay to play access to John McCain.

This means that John McCain effectively runs the same thing as the Clinton Foundation used to. America needs to know.
