The realities of Australia’s controversial method of dealing with refugees has been exposed in 8,000 pages of leaked documents that reveal systematic child abuse on Australia’s offshore detention island Nauru.
The Guardian received the leak from inside the detention system which exposes more than 2,000 reports detailing assault, sexual abuse, self harm and unfit living conditions, half of which concern children. It provides a damning case against the Australian government for failing to act on previous reports or to properly care for those under its detention.

While its function has left biologists baffled “for centuries,” researchers from Yale University and the Center for Prevention of Preterm Birth at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, now believe that our female ancestors only released an egg after achieving an orgasm, which is still the case for other mammals, including cats, rabbits and camels.
Mihaela Pavličev, co-author of the study published in the JEZ-Molecular and Developmental Evolution journal, says it’s “important to stress that it didn’t look like the human female orgasm looks like now” and that it was “maybe modified further in humans.”

While many may not have been aware that a debate was raging among the scientific community as to whether sex was better when drunk or high, researchers at New York University have finally figured it out.
Through a series of in-depth interviews with 24 heterosexual adults, Joseph Palamar and his team found that having sex while high was better on a number of fronts.
Firstly, “beer goggles” do in fact impact your choice of sexual partner. Not only that, respondents“overwhelmingly” reported their standards were lowered when drinking alcohol, whereas when smoking marijuana, this wasn’t an issue.
“With weed I know who I’m waking up with. With drinking, you don’t know. Once you start drinking, everybody looks good,” one female respondent told researchers.

Reverend Louis Brouillard, 95, admitted to repeatedly molesting boys while serving and teaching at Guam from the 1940s to the 1970s. Guam is an island in the Pacific known for housing a US Naval base.

Malcolm Roberts won a Queensland Senate seat as member of the anti-immigration One Nation party in recent elections.
He says the United Nations is using climate change to lay the foundations for an unelected global government.
His previous writing indicates that he believes a shadowy cabal of bankers is controlling world affairs.
One Nation is led by Pauline Hanson, who during the 1990s was a controversial figure in Australian politics for her views on immigration and Indigenous Australians.

The U.S. Government is going to run a huge budget deficit going forward. Tax receipts are falling in correlation with economic activity and less foreigners are interested in buying new Treasury debt issuance. Last year, despite Obama’s claim that the U.S. budget deficit was only $400 billion, the U.S. Treasury had to issue over $1 trillion in new debt. Obama lied his ass off. This year the U.S. Treasury debt will go up even more than last year. At some point the Fed will have to print money in order to fund new Treasury issuance.
